Kenny Probst Receives Spring Lake Elementary School's Classified Employee Crystal Apple Award!               This year’s classified employee Crystal Apple Award was presented to Kenny Probst. Mr. Probst, the head custodian, is a “Jack of all Trades” at Spring Lake. He is a very positive influence to all students, parents, and faculty. He is always there to lend a helping hand. He provides mechanical help when employees need assistance with their vehicles. He spends many hours above and beyond the regular school day seeing that all is ready for the next day ahead. He is the friendly lunchroom friend that always helps sing “Happy Birthday” and cleans up messes. He gets balls off the roof, takes care of unwanted bugs in classrooms, adjusts clocks and just makes Spring Lake a great place to be! Congratulations to Mr. Probst for the wonderful recognition.

Spring Lake Teachers Kiss A Pig

Submitted by kathleen.ware on

On May 20 students at Spring Lake Elementary School in Payson gathered together in the auditorium to watch their teachers kiss a pig! It was all part of the Ken Garff Road to Success Program. For meeting their reading goal, the students earned the priviledge of watching their teachers pucker up. Next week they will celebrate reading over 2 million minutes as they watch some of their friends win a brand new bike in the end of the year drawing for prizes.
