Kindergarten Celebrate Veteran's Day

Submitted by doug.lai on

This year for Veteran's Day Spring Lake Kindergartners colored pictures for the Veteran's Home in Payson.  Our Kindergartners wanted to show their love and appreciation for these great men and women who have served our beautiful country.  The Veteran's were able to choose a picture to take back to their rooms to hang on the wall.  Thank you Veteran's!

Veteran's Day Program

Submitted by doug.lai on

In Mrs. Ray's 4th grade class, we have been learning about what a Veteran is.  On November 11, our class shared our new knowledge of "who" a Veteran is with the whole school. Several service men and women who represented all military branches were introduced by our students.  We sang songs, put on a skit, and also honored those Veteran's in our audience. community, and throughout our country. The children and adults were grateful for those men and women who have served and are serving this great country. God Bless America!

Worms

Submitted by doug.lai on

Mrs. Ware's first-grade class broke out their lab coats to make some scientific observations. First, they recorded their observations of the common gummy worm. Next, they were in for a surprise when the wiggly slimy ones were presented for observation. Their observations were discussed and they concluded that one was living and the other non-living; thus leading into their science unit of living and non-living things.

PTA Reflections

Submitted by doug.lai on

We had a lot of students that took part in this years reflections. The theme was "Let Your Imagination Fly". Students chose from six caregories. Literature, Dance Choreography, Music Composition, Photography, Film Production, and Visual Arts. Many students entered in more than one. It was fun to see all the students' hard work, and their interpretations. There will be an assembly on Friday. Thanks to all who entered, and the PTA for sponsoring, and time taken to judge. Good luck to those going on to the District Level. Please click through photos.
