One of the science objectives we have in fourth grade is teaching about animals. We teach the adaptations of the animals. Thanks to the Nebo Foundation, we were given a grant for over 40 animal books that help us teach it. After the students learn about their assigned animal and it's adaptations, they make a poster and write the five most interesting adaptations of their animal on it. They then post them out in the hall. The students use chalk pastels for their illustrations.
