Halloween

Submitted by doug.lai on

Students might have had trouble know who was the real Mr. Daybell as there were several doppelgängers. We had wonderful weather for our parade outside. Thanks for all the parents who helped in classes.

Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company

Submitted by doug.lai on

Spring Lake students were in for a real treat Monday as the Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company came to visit. They help students learn that everyone can dance and it can be anywhere - even sitting down during an assembly. They were very energetic and showed students that dance takes place in four different elements: Space, Shape, Time and Motion.

Just a reminder that Reflections projects are due tomorrow! Please check the rules to make sure that entries follow the guidelines specified. Please have your students bring their entries to the office in the morning. Our committee is excited to see how the Spring Lake students decided to tell their stories and express their creativity!

Fourth-grade Fossil Hike

Submitted by doug.lai on

Spring Lake's 4th grades went fossil hunting Friday. They found lots of great fossils and even saw a few wildlife friends. The kids had tons of fun playing in the sand and looking for fossils, but the highlight was definitely the tarantula. Mrs. Caldwell even let it crawl on her face. It is learning experiences like these that kids will remember for the rest of their lives. Other then of few stickers, the field trip was a huge success.
