Mayflower Project

Submitted by doug.lai on

Last week Mrs. Ware's first grade class and their Big Buddies participated in a STEM project together. Each student made a Pilgrim ship, tested it to see if it would sink or float, and then tested it to see how many pilgrims (blocks )it would hold. The two winner's ships held over 100 Pilgrims. It made a fun afternoon of science, engineering, and math!
