We Are Thankful For Tables And Chairs
Sometimes to help your students feel grateful for tables and chairs, you have them do their work upside down!

The sixth-grade went on a field trip to the Clark Planetarium on Tuesday, November 1st. They were able to explore all of the newly remodeled exhibits, watch an IMAX movie about the International Space Station, and have a lesson called Science on the Sphere in the lobby. What an amazing learning environment!
"Dr. Shella Shapes" came by to review with Mrs. Harmon's class today before they took their geometry test. The students loved seeing their teacher have so much fun!
Students who had one or no tickets for term one got to enjoy watching Old Yeller.
Thanks to the Spanish Fork Rotary Club and Zion's Bank branch in Payson for donating dictionaries for our students.
SL Hawks,
I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for their support last week for our Halloween parade. Our students loved showing off their costumes and the fun activities that their teachers and room moms prepared for them.
First-grade had a great time visiting the aquarium.
The second-grade field trip to the SCERA theater was a blast! We saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The play was very engaging and had a lot of fun songs that the kids loved. We enjoyed the afternoon at the park while eating lunch with our parent helpers and classmates.
It is that time of year again where third-grade students decorate a pumpkin to look like a character from a book they are reading. They did a great job. They get better each year it seems.
