The sixth-grade orchestra performed several Christmas songs on Tuesday. Following the school sang a couple of carols and teacher sang two songs to the school. A revised version of Winter Wonderland entitled Christmas in an Elementary School and We Wish You a Merry Christmas.

The Christmas season would not be complete without Mr. Ewells class performing A Christmas Carol, adapted by Lisa Bean from the District. They performed for several classes on Monday and parents later that night.

Students had a great time singing Christmas carols.

Friday, December the 16th the Spring Lake Choir did a concert for their fellow students. They have been practicing hard since school started, and now they really shined. Thanks to Diana Hunt who works with them every week. Choir will start again the first Thursday after the Christmas break, so it is not too late to join. 

Christmas would not be complete without our annual Christmas play put on by sixth-grade. Dancing, singing, and great actors. A huge thanks to Mrs. Anderson and Davies who come back each year to help out with the music. This year's show was definitely one not to miss. Thanks for all your hard work sixth-grade. 

First-grade has been learning how to measure. Pictured is Mrs. Stone's class. 

Mr. Atkin's class has been rehearsing for the last three weeks to perform an adaptation of War of the Worlds written by Lisa Bean. Students tried out for parts and put on a great show.

Classes that had the most box tops turned in from each grade got to attend a fun assembly with wild animals. There were snakes, turtles, and even birds of prey.
