Summer Drama Workshops

The Summer Drama Workshop is a Nebo District-sponsored program for 3rd-6th grade students.   Session I:  June 5-16 @ Spring Lake (Payson).  Session II: June 19-30 @ Sierra Bonita (Spanish Fork).
  • 5th/6th class meets 9:00-12 Mon-Fri at both locations. Cost: $42 per session.
  • 3rd/4th class meets 9:30-12 Mon-Fri.

Nebo Foundation Grant

Mr. Lai got a Nebo foundation grant in March for a Chromebook cart. “Thank you Nebo Foundation for funding my project to get a Chromebook cart. It will be such a valuable asset in our classroom. We will have someplace to secure our Chromebooks and iPads so that they are safe for years to come. Not to mention being able to charge them without cables all over the place. Thank you so much.”

Lion King

On Wednesday, March 29th Third-grade students walked to Payson High School to see Mt. Nebo Jr. High's production of the Lion King. They put on a wonderful show. So many talented performers. A couple of which who went to Spring Lake. A couple also have a parent that work at Spring Lake. Well done to all those involved.

Clark Planetarium

6th Graders were visited by Jeff from the Clark Planetarium this week. They were able to review their knowledge about Space, including seasons, moon phases, solar system and the universe! 

Microbes Science Fair

The sixth-graders participated in the annual Microbes Science Fair on March 30. They each conducted experiments growing mold on a food item at their homes, documenting their findings daily for 10 days. They shared their findings with students and parents.
