Mrs. Ingrid Bolz brought her choirs to perform for the students at Spring Lake Elementary. Several of whom went to Spring Lake as students. It was a fun assembly with amazing talkent. Especially the two boys that sang "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas".
The Spring Lake Choir did a concert for their fellow students. They have been practicing hard since school started, and now they really shined. Thanks to Diana Hunt who works with them every week. Choir will start again the first Thursday after the Christmas break, so it is not too late to join.
Monday night at Payson High School the Spring Lake Choir performed. Way to go everyone!

Mr. Lai's class has been working on 3D printing thanks to a donation of a 3D printer from Mr. Lai's brother-in-law and a Donorchoose grant from PWC in New York. They are working on making ornaments for Christmas and backpack tags for their first-grade buddies, that still have some trouble memorizing their phone number.
Mr. Lai's class went in to help their first-grade buddies in Mrs. Taylors class learn some coding. They made an elf do a little boogie and dance. They also designed snowflakes using simple coding where you drag and drop parts of code.
Mrs. Laura Brockbank has been visiting with 3-6th grade classes, helping teachers integrate music with their curriculum. Pictured is Ms. Grover's class.
These colorful birds began with a simple drawing, then magazine pages were cut into triangles and layered to complete their birds.
The students realized how quickly the bird came alive after layering it. Their drawings went from a 2D image to a 3D finished project. Each bird is different and unique, just like in nature.
Nice job to all!
