Kindness Rocks!

On Friday, April 27th several of our 4th grade students participated in a "Kindness Rocks" activity led by a classmate, Will Paas.  Students painted positive messages on rocks and plan to do something special with them next week.  The purpose of the activity is to spread kindness and uplift those who might be feeling down or need encouragement. Maybe you will find one of their rocks around town in the coming weeks. This was a really fun activity enjoyed by all the students.

Wednesday, April 25th was National Support Professionals Day.  At Spring Lake, we were thrilled to honor Mrs. Baxter and Mrs. Fechner.  Not only do they support our entire staff, they take great care of our parents and students and keep everything running smoothly.  They are truly ANGELS and we are so grateful for all they do for our school!

Tuesday, April 23rd was the perfect day for a track meet!  Our 6th graders represented themselves well and did wonderfully in all of the events.  I am always so impressed with their great behavior and good sportsmanship.  Congratulations to those who placed in their events.  Those students will be honored at an assembly later in the month!   Way to go 6th grade!
