Code.org

5th grade students have had a lot of fun learning to code from some high school students. Several have already finished course 2 and are ready to move on. I think a few may have found something fun that could turn into a job someday.

Ballet West

Submitted by doug.lai on

On Friday March 29th, Ballet West for Children came to Spring Lake Elementary. They presented a history of ballet, and a sample of daily ballet classes involving students. They taught students about technique, music appreciation, good posture, healthy eating, and work ethic that goes into having a career in ballet. They then did a condensed version of Sleeping Beauty for the students. It was a great assembly. Thanks to Ballet West and USOE for making it possible.
