Second Grade Patriotic Program

Submitted by doug.lai on

We are so proud of our second-grade kids. They did an amazing job in their program! They have worked hard for the last two months to learn all of their program songs and parts. We know that our great country is in good hands with this group of kids in the future. We re so lucky to have the freedoms we do, to come to school and learn. We truly are blessed to be Americans.

Orchestra Concert

Submitted by doug.lai on

It was really fun to see all the hard work the orchestra has been putting in with Mrs. Yazzie. There is a concert for parents tonight at 6:30pm. Some 5th grade students even got the chance to try several instruments. Hopefully many will want to join next year. Great job! There are a few videos posted on Facebook and Instagram

Butterflies

Submitted by doug.lai on

It was time to set our kindergarten classroom butterflies free. We waited for a nice warm day so the butterflies would be able to fly easier. These were Painted Lady butterflies that came to us as tiny caterpillars. We watched each of them them grow, transform into a chrysalis, and later emerge as a beautiful butterfly. Goodbye beautiful butterflies!
