Why did you decide to become a teacher?: My mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother were teachers. When I was young I told myself that I would never, ever teach, and here I am the 4th generation woman in my family to teach. When I was in college I worked at a preschool which first started my love of teaching younger children. But didn't pursue a teaching degree. After college I went from job to job not knowing what I wanted to do. Until one day I was given the opportunity to take up this teaching position and further my education. I wasn't sure at first, but when I finally jumped in with both feet I know this is what I was meant to do.
How long you been teaching?: This is my first year teaching and working at Spring Lake
