As part of Red ribbon week, and saying no to drugs. Spring Lake Students raised money for Pennies For Prevention. Students brought in as many pennies as they could. The winning class receives classroom supplies, or an activity. Money raised will help out a local drug prevention organization Steps Recovery Center to help individuals become drug free.
The top three classes were Mrs. Hailey Poulsen with 32.9 lbs, Mrs. Katie Shaw at 29.6 lbs, and Mr. Doug Lai with 14.4 lbs. Over all the school raised $457.20. Well done Mrs. Poulsen’s class and Spring Lake students.
