Nebo School District Outdoor Education
Who? Fifth grade students currently enrolled in Nebo District are eligible to register.
What? A 3-day outdoor educational experience at Shadow Mountain for 5th grade students currently
enrolled in Nebo School District only. This is not a wilderness or outdoor survival program.
Where? Shadow Mountain is located approximately 13 miles up the Left Fork of Hobble Creek Canyon.
Cost? The $ 85.00 camp fee includes food, lodging, instruction, equipment, transportation, crafts and

2. June 4 – 6 Monday - Wednesday
3. June 7 – 9 Thursday - Saturday
4. June 11 – 13 Monday - Wednesday
5. June 14 – 16 Thursday - Saturday
6. June 18 - 20 Monday - Wednesday
7. June 21 – 23 Thursday - Saturday
8. June 25 – 27 Monday – Wednesday
9. June 28 – 30 Thursday - Saturday
When do we register?
Online Registration will go live Saturday, April 11, 8:00 AM and continue through the month of June. As long as there is a slot available, you may register for that slot. Once you have registered online, any changes must be made through the Shadow Mountain secretary, Linda Mortensen (801-798-4030). The registration link and information can be found at shadowmountain.nebo.edu.
There will be a $25.00 cancellation fee for cancellations after May 12. However, once sessions begin, refunds will only be made in limited circumstances where cancellation is beyond the family’s control, ie. illness, accidents etc.

Camp supply checklists, departure times and locations, and other details may be found on the Shadow Mountain Webpage at shadowmountain.nebo.edu. Beginning this year, all bus pickups and drop offs will be at the Landmark High School located across from the Spanish Fork fairground stadium at 612 S. Main, Spanish Fork.
