Reflections was an activity to support and bring out a young child's creative mind and that is just what this did. All of these students really worked hard and dedicated their time and effort to making these creations. This is a very creative exercise.
The whole school of Spring Lake elementary decided to say boo to drugs and host a Halloween parade. On this special occasion kids from each grade dressed up in their costumes and held a parade. The school is dedicating this parade to helping kids stay drug-free throughout their entire lives. Studies show that making an impact on kids at a young age will likely influence them to grow up and abide by those same rules. This was a very fun time for the whole school and they all learned a valuable lesson.
Mrs. Jarvis’s class has come together to make these cute Thanksgiving turkeys, but they wrote about thanksgiving without turkeys. What would you do if there were no turkeys for Thanksgiving?
Veterans were honored with a parade to all the Payson City Schools. This is a glimpse of what they saw at Spring Lake Elementary.
Students in Mrs. Taylor's class honor Veterans and pay special tribute to the Veterans in their own families.

She is so willing to seek you out to let you know if she has information or experience that might help you with something you're working on or experiencing. She is friendly, and fun, and a great asset to our faculty."
Every teacher choses two kids from their class to be the student of the month. All of these great, kind, kids got gift cards and a certificate. These teachers chose these kids because of their hard work, determination, kindness, and growth mindsets. These kids work very hard to ensure the well being of others.

The fifth graders did a field trip on October 21, 2021. All of the fifth graders were really excited because they did bootcamp! They all participated in various activities such as board walking, rope swinging, capture the flag, and a treasure hunt. At the end, all of the fifth graders had a flour bomb war. They put flour in cloth and had a free for all.
