First graders celebrated learning about the human body by having a Doctor Day. The school's STEM room was transformed into a "hospital" where students performed fun activities. These activities included putting human body jigsaw puzzles together , PlayDoh operations, and solving Bandaid math problems.
Each month Mrs. Findlay reads aloud to the students. The books she reads correspond with our monthly character trait focus. This month's books were about friendship.
5th grade students enjoyed a field trip to the park! While there, they participated in team building activities.
Reflections is a national PTA arts competition. This year's theme is "I am hopeful because..." Submissions are due on October 21. Visit the Reflections website for more information.
Students in first grade celebrated Constitution Day by learning about our national flag.
Mrs. Davis class wrote “tricky” words on their whiteboards. These are all the sight words they have learned so far this school year.
