Why did you decide to become a teacher?: I've always loved helping in the classroom, and with my youngest child in 1st grade, the opportunity work at the school was one I couldn't pass up!
How long you been teaching?: 4 months
College: BYU and Eastern Arizona College
Hometown: I don't really have one, but I say I'm from Arizona
Something not many people know about you: I grew up in Texas, New York, Virginia, and Arizona. I love history and it's partly because my parents took us to all the historical society on the East Coast while I was growing up. I love to travel! I've been to all but 6 of States, Canada, Mexico, Honduras, Belize, and Grand Cayman.
I love teaching...: I love helping kids learn and seeing the light bulb go on!
During the summer I like to...: Read, swim, camp, go on adventures
If calories didn't count I would eat/drink...: Dr. Pepper and chocolates
Favorite book or movie: Any book by Traci Hunter Abramson and I love the original Pete's Dragon!
