Meet the Daybell's

Dear Spring Lake Hawks,

I wanted to take a minute and introduce myself to all of you.  My name is Frank Daybell and I am the new principal at Spring Lake Elementary.  I was born and raised in Springville and still reside there.  A couple of years after graduation I married Angie Winget, a girl I met in the 7th grade and somehow convinced her to spend the rest of our lives together.  Angie has a hair salon in our house and has doing hair for 23 years.  Together we have 5 children. Chase, he is a sophomore at the University of Utah studying chemistry.  Madison, she is a junior at Springville High School and plays softball.  Will & Sam, they are twins and are starting 8th grade at Springville Jr. High and play all sports.  Jack, the baby of the family is a 6th grader at Sage Creek Elementary and plays all sports and loves hunting. 

I have too many hobbies and interests to list.  I love everything from making homemade vanilla extract to metal detecting. I love to spend as much time outdoors as possible and spend way too much time in the summer trying to grow the perfect tomato.

I am also an avid reader.  Right now I am in the middle of “The Wright Brothers” by David McCullough.  Unbroken, Holes, and Flipped are some of my favorite books. 

I am excited to have the chance to work at Spring Lake and get to know each of you.  My door is always open and invite you to stop by anytime.
