It was time to set our kindergarten classroom butterflies free. We waited for a nice warm day so the butterflies would be able to fly easier. These were Painted Lady butterflies that came to us as tiny caterpillars. We watched each of them them grow, transform into a chrysalis, and later emerge as a beautiful butterfly. Goodbye beautiful butterflies!

Our students really showed up at the 6th grade track meet on Tuesday. Not only did they do their best in all the events, they also represented our school with sportsmanship and great behavior. So proud of our hawks!  Track meet winners will be recognized at an assembly on May 22nd.
