Why did you decide to become a teacher?: I taught swimming, cello and tennis lessons when I was a teenager and loved it. Even though I loved those teaching experiences I never thought I would actually become a teacher. I started as an Architecture major then switched to business and finally realized teaching is what I was supposed to be doing all along. I also come from a family of teachers, so it must be in my DNA.
Why did you decide to become a teacher?: I've always loved helping in the classroom, and with my youngest child in 1st grade, the opportunity work at the school was one I couldn't pass up!
