Kindergarten was integrating the arts into their curriculum today.  Each child was able to participate in a plant dance.  Some students were seeds that grew up to be plants.  Other students were the sun and water and danced around our seeds to help them grow.  What a fun way to learn about plants!

Term 3 No Missing Assignment Party

March 28th fifth-grade students that had no missing assignments for the 3rd term. They played a fun Kahoot game with trivia questions about Spring Lake Elementary. The top five then competed in a digital lockbox where they had to use info about the school to unlockthe prize. Brinley Jewett was the first crack the code. She went home with a certificate from Little Ceasars for a free pizza, drink, and crazy bread.

Harward Farm Field Days

The Second-grade classes enjoyed a beautiful day at Harward Farm Field Days in Springville. They learned how animals, food, and clothing all come from different areas of the farm. Students got to watch a ewe sheep get sheared, pet some cute baby animals, eat yummy farm grown food and learn how important farms are to our community.
