On January 4th, 2012 Students in the sixth grade went back into the Middle Ages. Sir Bailey a knight from Medieval Times came to show the sixth-grade his armor, weapons, and teach about the Dark Ages. It was a blast from the past.

Students in the sixth-grade classes were able to participate in a Medieval festival on January 24th. The activities included jousting, catching rocks (marshmallows) thrown from catapults, and dining like a King. They also learned about clothing in the Middle Ages, Crusades, wooden and mud homes, and armor.
