Net Smartz Visits Spring Lake Elementary

Submitted by doug.lai on

Students learned how to be safe on the internet. Never give out personal information, don’t meet anyone in person that you met on the internet. Tell a parent if something makes you uncomfortable. Don’t open emails from people you do not know. Don’t be a cyber bully and don’t use the computer all day.

Spring Lake Elementary Students Will Soon have Pen Pals In Fiji

Submitted by doug.lai on

Students from UVU came to get students excited about writing to pen pals in Fiji. They told students a bit about the culture and what kind of things the students could write to them about. Students from UVU will soon be visiting Fiji and helping at a local school, where they will take letters from students and bring them back when they return. What an exciting opportunity to see what things are like half a world apart.
