Leprechauns descend on Spring Lake Elementary

Submitted by doug.lai on

Several classrooms were in disarray thanks to leprechauns, as students celebrated St. Patrick’s Day. Desks and chairs were overturned, green footprints were seen in classrooms, and several were caught in closets by teachers. Luckily they were willing to share their treasures with all of the classes thanks to the PTA.

Ballet West For Children Visits Spring Lake Elementary

Submitted by doug.lai on

On Monday March 14th, Ballet West for Children came to Spring Lake Elementary. They presented a history of ballet, and a sample of daily ballet classes involving students. They taught students about technique, music appreciation, good posture, healthy eating, and work ethic that goes into having a career in ballet. They then did a condensed version of Sleeping Beauty for the students. It was a great assembly. Thanks to Ballet West and USOE for making it possible.
