Reaction Time

Submitted by doug.lai on

Discovery Gateway came to the school and taught us about chemical reactions. The presenter did several experiments that showed us examples of chemical changes. Each class had a session of their own where they were able to conduct experiments and determine if their reaction was physical or chemical.

Good Evening Spring Lake Hawks,

Thanks to all of you who came out to SEP’s last week.  It was great to have a chance to see so many of you and talk about your children.  It is important that we have good communication with each of you so we can do what is best for our students.

Cereal Book Reports

Submitted by doug.lai on

Third-grade students had a lot of fun coming up with new cereal names as they made their term three book reports. Students had to come up with a name, have a picture of book or characters, cereal bowl with pieces about the book, book info, five important events and a game on the back. Some even added a boxtop to make it perfect. Don't forget to cut it off and turn it in to the PTA.
