Timestable Party

Submitted by doug.lai on
The fourth-grade at Spring Lake Elementary has worked on passing of their multiplication fast facts.  The children began with 25 facts on a sheet then moved to 100 mixed facts sheet.  There was a party held for all those students who passed off 100 facts in five minutes.  There was cookie decorating, Just Dance, and a game of Scatter.  Students enjoyed their celebration and will apply their knowledge of multiplication facts throughout their lives!

State Capitol Visit

Submitted by doug.lai on

The fifth-grade classes at Spring Lake Elementary recently enjoyed a fantastic field trip to the State Capitol in Salt Lake City on February 13, 2018. They enjoyed learning about the vital work that goes on at the Capitol for our state’s citizens. While there, students had an opportunity to see the state legislature in action by observing in both the senate and house galleries. Both Senator Henderson and Representative Marc Roberts took time to meet with students, share their experiences and answer questions about serving in the Legislature.
