Mrs. Penick's class counted 2,568 connecting cubes as they learned about place value this week.

Mrs. Ware's class met their Big Buddies from Mrs. Miller's 6th Grade class! They will be working together on reading, math, and science this year.
During the first week of school third-grade students have been writing stories about a "slice" of their summer. To celebrate we enjoyed a slice of watermelon during recess.

First graders had fun learning about rules by reading the book No David! They made their own David to remember what they learned.
Mrs. Jordan met with grade levels to discuss school rules. She had students sit as experts and asked questions about why they thought we have certain rules and policies. They are all there to make sure students can learn and that students are kept safe.
This year's theme is 'Heroes Around Me'. The deadline is October 9th.
Choir has begun! It is Thursdays from 3:15-4:15pm. for 2nd to 6th graders.
