Loveland Living Planet Aquarium Visits 4th Graders

Today 4th graders at Spring Lake were visited by Loveland Living Planet Aquarium. They learned about environments and animals of Utah, and how they can better care of our environment. They also got to meet some animals that live in Utah: Newman the tiger salamander, Glen the red-spotted toad, and Sage the gopher snake. It was a really fun and educational assembly!

Teacher Appreciation

Teachers were spoiled during Teacher Appreciation Week! There were beautiful posters made by students. Our middle hall was decorated with those posters and an amazing balloon arch. A wonderful lunch was provided along with a "teacher survival kit." Thank you so much to parents and PTA for making it such a special week.

Spring Lake First Graders Glow

First graders enjoyed “glow” activities as they celebrated May the 4th! They composed glowing 3D shapes, found missing heart words, played Tic Tac Toe, and one class had their 4th grade buddies help them write a Star Wars story.

Book Fair Bonanza

This week there was a huge book fair. It was the end of year buy one get one free! This was a special book fair for those who participated because this one is for the end of the year! This is a reminder that summer is close and we can use it to read! Reading is a very important skill so practicing would be very fun! Everything that is earned will go to the schools funding so that we can afford school supplies and other things.
