On Monday, April 26th, the Hobb's Family came for a visit and small presentation. As a result of our Silver For Sophie charitable giving fundraiser, 5th grade members of the Hawk Squad were able to present the family with a game night basket, gift cards to Little Ceasars, Chevron, Payson Market and Subway along with a check for over $6,600 to help the family with medical and other expenses.
It was wonderful to see Sophie running, talking, laughing and smiling! The Hobb's Family expressed their gratitute to the entire Spring Lake Community for their outpouring of love and help! The family shared that when Sophie was first diagnosed, they began praying for miracles. The first miracle came through the doctors and nurses who cared for Sophie and the second miracle is the help and support they have recieved during Sophie's treatment and recovery.
