Special Visitor Came to 4th Grade

Submitted by denise.taylor on

4th graders were visited today by a representative from Payson City who spoke to them about keeping our storm water and drinking water clean. The students had fun as they learned about the top four things that pollute our water, and also about toxins that can enter the water.

Welcome Mrs. Clements!

Submitted by denise.taylor on

I interviewed the new second grade teacher,  Mrs. Clements.  The first question I asked was,  "Have you gone to any other schools before this or did you just come here?  She said she had taught for 15 years. She has taught kindergarten, first grade and second grade. She taught in Arizona for kindergarten at Augusta Ranch Elementary School.

Mrs. Jordan receives Student Advocate of the Year Award

Submitted by denise.taylor on

Our amazing principal, Mrs. Jordan was recently awarded Student Advocate of the Year.  This is an award voted on and given by other Nebo principals.  Mrs. Jordan truly deserves this award as she works tirelessly for the students at Spring Lake Elementary.  She knows their names and interests and truly cares about each student here at our school. She's supportive of the teachers and staff which in turn benefits the students.  We are so grateful for all she does for our students at Spring Lake.
