On Oct 5, 2021 we made bookmarks on TinkerCad. First, we had to download a lot of things and put them on TinkerCad. I did a cat silhouette and put "text" on it, saying "IZZY". Then I put the color green on it and sent it to Mr.Lai. Last, he printed it to give to me.
Third grade students have made fun character pumpkins for their book reports. You can tell that they put a lot of time into them because they look like they are well detailed. Here are a few that they made: Dogman, Greg from Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and Cat in the Hat, etc. It looks like they had a fun time making them.
One person from every grade got picked for making an amazing piece of art about fire safety! All of them got to see a real fire truck! Wow! The school issued a coloring page and all of these students excelled in coloring this and they got a wonderful surprise. Remember, this whole exercise was to induce safety.
It was a dark and stormy morning. All fifteen fifth graders awoke groggy because it was 6:00 am and they were attending the leadership conference! They went to BYU, a private college that focuses on determination and leadership. All of the fifth graders that attended learned a very valuable leadership skill and opportunity to make themselves better.
The first grade can really get exciting! All of them are doing something called Mystery Readers. One of the first graders' parents or guardian comes and reads a book but the catch is none of them know whose parent it is. They all have to make an educated decision on whose parent it is. All of the pictures shown here are pictures of this special event taking place in Mrs. Taylor's first grade class. The first grade is getting smarter and smarter every day.
First graders and their chaperones enjoyed their field trip to the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium in Draper, Utah.
