We started our I-Ready Super Bowl for Math last Friday! Some students worked hard right away and are being honored as our Team Weekend Warriors!
The first MVP for the Season is…Miranda Austin – Passing 11 Lessons in one weekend! She also earned an extra 2 points for her class by being chosen as the MVP!
Other Exceptional Team Members that worked hard and are helping their classes move ahead are… Jacob Valentine, Ellie Anderson, Hunter Broome, Claire Gunderson, David Salinas, Mara Smith, Madeline Anderson, Declan McCann, Nickelle Muhlestein

Students can set goals with their teachers in reading, math, or anything else! Once the goal is achieved they get to come down to the office and ring the victory bell!
Mrs. Bennett's class has been reading Harry Potter and were able to explore with the sorting hat!
Mrs. Rogers had her students think of a focus word to help celebrate the new year. Students made a design out of their word and it is posted in the room so they can remember what they're working on.
Monday, January 16, 2023, marks the 37th anniversary of the federal holiday in honor of Rev. Martin Luther King’s birthday. Signed into law in 1983 and first observed in 1986, the holiday is a tribute to King for advancing civil rights and social justice through non-violent protest. His was only the second birthday designated as a federal holiday after the observance of George Washington’s birthday.
Over the break we were so sad to say "See you later" to Mr. Farnes and Mrs. Topham as they embark on their new adventures. We are excited to welcome Mrs. Braden and Mrs. Kilner to our hawk family! Here is a little bit about them.
