Grandparent's Day

Kindergarten Grandparents Day was Friday, April 12.

Spring Lake Elementary kindergarten students worked hard all last week to prepare for the arrival of some pretty special people. The kindergarten students drew pictures, wrote sentences, and even practiced special songs. Finally, Friday arrived and they were delighted to welcome their grandparents to their classes. The Kindergarten students sang songs and showed off some of the great things they have learned so far this school year. The grandchildren and grandparents had fun together working on sight words, math problems and creating art projects. It was a day they will always remember.
