Students wore all kind of great hats!
**Coins for Kindness** TOMORROW IS THE LAST DAY! PLEASE SEND SOME COINS WITH YOUR CHILD.
The kids have had a great time with kindness week. We are still running our coin drive to show kindness for the community. The kids are bringing in their pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, dollars and more to raise money for the Community Action Food Bank. Yesterday they brought in another $44.46 making their weekly total $61.07 raised so far. Every dollar donated is turned into 6 meals. The kids have a goal of raising $100. If they can raise $100 they will earn 5 extra minutes of recess. If they earn $200 they will also receive a free movie ticket. If they raise $300 or more they will earn 10 extra minutes of recess instead of 5 (this is a huge deal to the kids.) If every student brought in just .50 cents they would raise more than $300 and that would turn into around 1800 meals given to the food bank. Make sure to spread the word to those not on Facebook.
