On May 17, 90 sixth-graders from Spring Lake Elementary graduated from the Payson Police Department NOVA program. The students were taught weekly by a Payson police Officer Hurst, from January until May. They learned many skills to help them in their future lives to be productive, happy, and successful individuals. They learned about the dangers of drugs, alcohol, media, bullying, and other harmful actions. They also learned about responsibility and accountability. The students left with a drive to be a better person and make better life choices. Thank you Officer Hurst and the Payson Police Department for providing this program for these students.
