Sherry Heelis Recieves Crystal Apple Award at Spring Lake Elementary.

Sherry Hellis has been a vital part of Spring Lake Elementary since its opening in 2002. She works with our pre-school students that have special needs. She is very deserving of this award. Here are some thing the faculty have said about her:
She is willing to help and share her knowledge with others. She works with so many students with many different needs with great care. Sherry is a great example of a dedicated educator.
Her dedication is overwhelming in preparing students to come to school. She prepares both parents and students.
She works hard. She is always calm and cheerful, even in difficult situations.
She is loving, patient, and kind. She is very knowledgeable and is a great resource to teachers and parents. Her students absolutely adore her!
Sherry willingly served the faculty as building rep. She is very dedicated to her students and the pre-school program. She is level headed and brings a good feeling. She is also professional & knowledgeable.
Sherry Heelis shows an outstanding level of professionalism in her specialized area of special needs preschool. She puts in long hours working with students who have difficulty functioning in the world. Having worked with her closely, I have high respect for all she does and the amazing results that happen in that classroom, preparing those little angels for kindergarten. She is an example of a true master teacher.
