Fifth-grade students enjoyed a hike up Picayune canyon. In the afternoon they enjoyed a hot dog roast to celebrate no more testing!
On Monday, April 26th, the Hobb's Family came for a visit and small presentation. As a result of our Silver For Sophie charitable giving fundraiser, 5th grade members of the Hawk Squad were able to present the family with a game night basket, gift cards to Little Ceasars, Chevron, Payson Market and Subway along with a check for over $6,600 to help the family with medical and other expenses.
Fifth-grade students took students through history to meet famous people. They worked hard memorizing lines and learning facts about their person. Great job!
Fourth-grade students painted Kindness rocks. They passed them out as they hiked to Red Rocks to look for fossils.
Our fourth-graders went hiking Friday to Red Point. It is about a mile away from our school where the students can find fossils. They often find shells and trilobites. They also got to play on the large sandy hill on the way back. Students are able to keep the fossils they find.
