5th-grade students have been learning about ways to conserve water. Utah and Idaho are the two highest users of water in the United States. Students in Mrs. Halm's class made posters showing how we can save water.
Teachers voted on who they thought should be the Classified Employee of the year. This year Mrs. Fechner was chosen.

Students had a fun-filled day celebrating reading. Those that turned in their punch cards got to enjoy a snack and play games outside.

Dear Parents,
We just received word that the state will be providing Bright Ideas workshops this summer! This is a phenomenal program that is a lot of interactive fun for students. Please see the attached flier for information on how to get your students signed up for a summer session.
This week Governor Herbert came to SpringLake to talk to the fifth graders. We got to dress in nice clothes and go to the gym and listen to him talk to us about his years as the Governor of Utah. The rest of the school had the opportunity to watch his visit on Zoom. Thank you Governor Herbert!
