Fourth-grade Visits The Utah Symphony

Submitted by doug.lai on

We attended the Utah Symphony, it had beautiful music.  The concert musicians taught us that you can hear motion while they play.  The symphony was located at Maple Mountain High School.  I thought it was really fun because, the musicians played their music as smooth as cat's fur.  All Nebo School District fourth-graders were invited to the symphony.  We went on December 4, 2012.  We enjoyed going because they played so perfect.

Class Donation To A school In Kenya

Submitted by doug.lai on

Ms. Stephens' class has been donating money to a Kenyan school. If kids read all five days that equals one dollar.  As a class, we read enough to donate $80.00 to the school in Kenya!  That's enough to buy three desks for three kids!
The Kenyan school kid sit on floors to learn. There pencils can get to half an inch long! They make their own toys made of things like sandals, tires, sticks, plastic bags, and more.
