Magician Mike Hamilton talked to students about the importance of reading. He struggled as a child to read, but fell in love with magic books, which led him to where he is today.
Many students got to help participate in him magic show. Teachers also took part, and were left speechless, as to how the trick was done. Students also learned how one of the tricks was done. Of course a magician never reveals all, and we were amazed when his Yahtzee dice it was taken to another level.
Student repeated over and over that they should read for 20 minutes each night. By doing that, not only will they get better at reading, but they can learn to do anything they want. As a reminder a card was signed by two students and himself, and it thrown against the ceiling. The cards stuck, and will stay as a reminder everytime students come down to the gym.
