Students at Spring Lake Elementary celebrated Red Ribbon week by pledging to stay drug free. Monday they wore red mustaches to school. Tuesday was crazy day because you would have to be crazy to do drugs, so student have crazy socks and hair. Wednesday Students wore team jerseys because we need to stick together. Thursday was a pajama day to wake up and say no to drugs. Students also made banners that hung in the hallways, and had a penny fundraising competition to help sponsor someone at Steps Recovery Center in Payson. $365.53 was raised which will be matched. Great job to 6th grade for bringing in the most pennies.
