Students took a favorite character and made it come alive, through sculpture. Students worked in groups in the planning of their project.

Wire and newspaper supplied their creations. Paper Mache’ was added to harden the sculpture, and lastly the final coats of tissue paper, fabric, and any other material possible were used to finish these sculptures.

It was decided from the beginning, that the sculptures would be donated to the school, so all students could enjoy the Their hard work.  Service, “giving back to the school,” was part of the love they gave doing this project.

Medium: Sculpture and wire form.

Mrs. Howard’s Art Class
