What is Zentangle?
Zentangle is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create images by drawing structured patterns.
It increases focus, creativity, and provides the artist with satisfaction along with increased sense of pride.
Grades 1-6 tried this new upcoming craze. Nice Job.
Orchestra has begun at Spring Lake Elementary. Sixth-grade students have the opportunity to participate in orchestra in the mornings before school two days a week. This is a great opportunity for them to learn how to play an instrument and learn about music.
First-grade: Marley Houck, Joseph Hurd, Hunter Taylor, Lexi Moore, Jace Bennett, Kaitlen Mitchell, Liberty Kenison, Liam Hardy, Pedro Ceja, Chloe Carson, Ashlyn Alvey, and Ty Erdmann.
Second-grade: Brandy Haymore, Luke Sutton, Landon Golding, Olivia McClain, Koby Anderson, Mary Wolfe, Lucy Martin, and Mason Tyler.
Third-grade: Ethan Losee, Kaley Hanks, Jadan Bird, Morgan Sheets, Hector Alaniz, Kaylee Giles, Emma Mathews, Kennedy Orme, and David Bartholomew.
Spring Lake Elementary Second-grade learns about place value while counting and grouping unifix cubes into ones, tens, hundreds, and thousands. Mrs. Penick’s class counted 1,613. Math is awesome!
