The Second-grade put on an excellent performance of their annual Patriotic Program. The program included several well-known patriotic favorites. Second-grade students taught about why they love the United States of America.
First-grade students sang about their favorite neighborhood helpers. There were plumbers, dentist, fireman, grocers, mailmen, chefs, and even the garbage truck!
Our butterflies are currently in the pupa stage.
Both Kindergarten classes had two eggs hatch in class. Cute, fuzzy chicks.
Several students participated in the Utah State Junior Livestock Show. They showed their lambs. Pictured Ava Smith, Trey Smith, and Britton Biggs.
Spring Lake students met a lot of special guests today, by having the most registrations for the City's Pay It Forward Fun Run. Students got to meet Payson City Royalty, a former Ms. USA, an Olympic Athlete and Willy the mascot from UVU. Sponsors of the event donated hundreds of balls to the school. One sponsor was Steps Recovery who wanted to Pay it Forward to Spring Lake students who donated to their organization before for Pennies for Prevention.
Spring Lake's third-grade enjoyed the day at Payson City's annual track meet. They successfully competed in various track and field events, soaked up the sun, and had fun with all their friends.
Monday night at Payson High School the Spring Lake Choir performed with the choir at the Parkview Elementary. It was a fantastic combination concert! Way to go everyone!
