Thursday, December 18th third-grade students got a special visit from Zion’s Bank. Ed Christensen, Manager of the Spanish Fork branch, and Jenny Castillo, manager of the Payson branch came to donate dictionaries to all the students, as a partnership with the Spanish Fork Rotary Club. They talked about how important education is, and did a couple of find the word races. Later in the year third-grade will have a spelling bee as part of receiving the dictionaries.

Crystal Apple Award

Submitted by doug.lai on

This year's Crystal Apple Award went to Lindsay Miller.

Lindsay is a wonderful member of our faculty… She is so friendly, and helpful to everyone.  Lindsay is easy to work with and contributes to our school as a whole. She is always willing to share great ideas with others.

Some of her teammates, both previous and current, have mentioned that she is very energetic in her teaching, and her life in general. We hear she is amazing with transitions in her classroom, that they are really something to watch!

Spring Lake Elementary Sixth-grade students rocked the stage once again this year!  They entertained their guests with a variation of the familiar Christmas reading, T’was the Night Before Christmas, while incorporating the arts in all forms.  There was some incredible scenery, drama, dancing, and of course music.  Spring Lake students love the arts!
