Gingerbread Man Visits Kindergarten Students

Submitted by doug.lai on

Spring Lake Kindergartners have been busy chasing the gingerbread man around the school.  He was spotted in many places such as the library, the lunch room, the office and even the roof.  Spring Lake’s very own Mr. Probst dressed up in a gingerbread man costume to catch him and return him to kindergarten.  The kindergartners were so excited to gobble the gingerbread man up.

On Wednesday April 17th the Kindergartners at Spring Lake Elementary had a special treat. The Bean Museum from BYU came to teach them about reptiles. The students learned about the different types of reptiles and how they are different from humans. Josh, the presenter, brought a tortoise named “Otis”, an iguana named “PJ” and a snake. Each student had the opportunity to pet the snake. It was a great learning experience and lots of fun too!
